About the Artist

Edelweiss Cobblestone currently resides in Jasper County Indiana and works in Chicago. Her inspirations come from her many interests and experiences including the sea, nature, history, art history, yachting, and people she meets in her travels. “I am a self taught Sunday painter with no formal art education. I work primarily in oils, watercolors, and pencil and pen sketches. My subject matter tends to be largely landscapes, but I also dabble in portraits. Mostly I paint whatever or whomever I find interesting and appealing.”
