Edelweiss Cobblestone Fine Art

About the Artist:

Edelweiss Cobblestone is a pseudonym the artist uses to paint under. He considers his art somewhere between impressionism and realism. He is a former soldier. He was also deep sea diver that worked in oilfield and salvage operations for almost two decades. He is also a yacht rigger, as he a passion for boats and racing yachts. He draws inspiration from these life experiences, but he is also influenced by nature, history, art history and the people he meets in his travels. “I am a self taught Sunday painter with no formal art education. I work primarily in oils, watercolors, and pencil and pen sketches. My subject matter tends to be largely landscapes, but I also dabble in portraits. Mostly I paint whatever or whomever I find interesting and appealing.”
